Little Oliver is finishing up preschool this week.
To thank his patient, creative, nurturing teachers, Oliver made little portraits of them!
To help Oliver centre facial features and to encourage this project at all (not super into sitting down with a drawing project on these sunny days!), I used the pdf created by Inchmark. I've been looking for a reason to use these adorable templates!
I "matted" them by pasting his creation on top of some lovely Japanese papers and framing them simply, but ready to hang.
Thank you, dear teacher! |
Oliver will keep happy memories of the year before kindergarten with him always. It is where he learned the very basics of spending time in a classroom. I know he has many more wonderful learning-filled years in in his future...his whole life, in fact!
What a cute and sweet idea! and happy summer break to Oliver!
ReplyDeleteFantasic idea.
ReplyDeleteWell done Oliver.

Oh I just love this!
ReplyDeleteHappy to read that you are having warm sunny days. We had some, but then the proximity to the arctic mad it self evident again!
Those are so adorable! I'm sure the teachers will treasure them.
ReplyDeleteI love these! They are too cute. Fantastic idea.
