They say to take advantage of every opportunity offered - that life is too short not to.
Recently, I did just that, and had my artwork featured on tv!
I'm really glad that I took the opportunity to get outside of my comfort zone and agreed to be on the show. The 'behind the scenes' look at the running of a news program left a big impression on me too...there are so many people - so many cool nerves! - that make live television seem so seamless!

Aw thanks, Daniela. It was quite daunting, the idea of appearing on live television! I couldn't always hear the news anchors very well but I tried my best to stay calm and relaxed and most importantly, be myself!

ReplyDeleteSol, Wilma + Holly: Thanks! I was able to somewhat guide their stylist toward my penchant for "granny-chic"...they ended up going for a MadMen look, which I really did love!
DeleteI got picked from an application I'd put in ages ago...totally forgot about it until I got the call from the show's producer. I learned that if you don't apply, you don't get!
