The City gardeners have outdone themselves with this late-summer garden outside the Burnaby Art Gallery. |
Charlotte calls this piece 'A Picky Eater's Delight' |
Discovered this gorgeous mural whilst roaming in Port Coquitlam, BC recently. |
Charlotte couldn't resist this brawny Captain. |
A simple old-timey bakery at one of our favorite spots, the Burnaby Village Museum. |
Mr. Hausfrau and I had a lovely day to ourselves a little while ago. The riverside lunch was perfection! |
Beautifully vivid photographs!
ReplyDeleteThanks JJ! It's a vivid time of year...
DeleteFantastic street art! Love the flowers in the top photo!
ReplyDeleteI'm a picky eater like Charlotte :)
Have a great weekend!
Ha! I didn't know that about you, Duni! It's ok to be a picky eater...certainly acts as an insta-diet!
DeleteLove the bright coloured flowers, and I bet that if some famous artist made the sandwich artwork, it would be in a museum!
ReplyDeleteTrue, M. I can't believe some of the "art" curated for gallery walls. All in the eye of the beholder as they say!
DeleteAlso true, I remember apiece of art by a Dutch artist that was a peanutbutter covered floor..... It's worth was estimated at € 100.000.- I just did the math, you can buy 73.529 jars of peanutbutter of that amount of money!
Deletepicky eaters delight.. clever. and i agree with your above comment.. "if some famous artist made the sandwich artwork, it would be in a museum!"
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm trying to find the silver lining with the fuss pot, Ms. Charlotte. Turning refuse into art. Upcycling, in a way ;P
DeleteFun collection of photos. The late summer garden is a beauty! Charlotte is so cute with Captain America. That is a wonderful under the sea mural there.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by! Captain America was one of the displays C wasn't completely freaked out by at the PNE's superhero collection this year...
DeleteThe flowers and bakery are so gorgeous! And the lunch looks perfectly yummy :)
ReplyDeleteThose flowers make me so happy. I'm not ready for fall!
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos and great discoveries, makes me want to visit some old-style bakery right now.
