Living on a university campus, shoulder to shoulder with the nerds, I've had to make some nerdy art. I think our faculty of math neighbors upstairs would be wary though.
In any case, I've had this little piece in my mind's eye for years, I think.
Now that it's out of my system, I have to try my hand at some science art. Ha! Pretty sure that's sacrilegious.
i have a friend who is extremely visual and a natural designer. she showed me some math she was working on with her boys (early elementary), and it was a beautiful drawing of a tree with fruit to represent numbers. i've tried to keep that in mind as i teach my kids math, trying (when i can) to make it pretty and visual. love your "nerdy" math art.
I'm really happy to see that my Olle-Bolle still gets to see the Koi's at the AQ-pond, after the many visits I had there with him during the 2 years of Oma time!
