Highlights

A view through my lens, these past few weeks:

I got a jar of homemade granola from a friend this week.  Perfect with the coconut yogurt I'm currently addicted to!

Mr. Hausfrau and I celebrated eight years of marriage!  We had dinner in the most marvelous Victorian dining room.

Painting...always painting...

While on a tour of the legislature, the grand ceiling.

Our children played at the playground.  We got a break on the lawn.

What is the prettiest sight you've seen recently?

  1. Wow! My granola is famous now. So glad you are enjoying it. :) My favourite part is the dried cherries. YUM. Love your pics in this post, especially the ceiling. And a belated Happy Anniversary!

    1. The art on the ceiling was part of the tour. Our guide Alex explained that the four main industries in British Columbia are represented in frescos on the ceiling...was pretty amazing. Thanks, Mary!

  4. Love your photos! Been meaning to try Granola as I hear it's quite healthy for you, is it tasty? Also I think I purchased the same paint set you have when I went on a trip to Germany a few years ago, the paints are great quality. Happy Anniversary :)

    1. Thanks Hannah! Ooooh...you MUST try granola! The thing is, don't give up if you don't love the first one you try. There are huge varieties out there to buy, but of course you can customize to your own taste, like my friend Carly did! She loves extra dried cherries and coconut, so that's what she added!

So funny that we have the same German paint set. I love the vibrant colours...
