The Mini-Art Framing Tutorial

I just finished working on this short stem of fuchsia:



It's 5" x 5"...a perfect fit for the Ikea RIBBA shadow box!

Here's how I framed my tiny botanical work:

Materials:

Scotch Permanent Double Sided Tape
Ikea RIBBA shadow box frame:  http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/00078051/
white cardstock


Cut a piece of white cardstock to size of the textile and
use double sided tape to secure to frame backing...

...using double sided tape again, attach the fiber art to the
cardstock making sure at least all four corners are secure...




I'm  really pleased with how the simple lines of this frame style leaves the intricacies of small, delicate pieces to shine.  Time well spent!
